This project was a restyling of an existing low-fidelity minimum viable product dashboard. The GUI was based on a corporate provided design system for all cabin GUI interfaces.

My Role
I reviewed the design system and identified design elements that could help eliminate pain points for the user within the CSE dashboard.
Discovery
The existing UI for the CSE Dashboard was very basic and not user friendly. A complete rework of the interface and user experience was in order.
Other Thales customer facing dashboard applications were using the Material Design style library as well as a company wide design system so the design mock-ups relied heavily on those resources for stylistic queues and UX patterns.
Medium Fidelity Wireframes
The developers had used a basic ‘developer interface’ for years to control mock flight data for interfacing with another application. The prototypes offered a glimmer of home that this UI would finally be given the consideration needed to make it a much more pleasant experience.
The design was tested, iterations were made and it was eventually handed off to the developers. This was my final project at Thales.
